Monica Groth

Monica is passionate about history, ecology, and filmmaking. She holds a  Bachelor's Degree in the History of Science and recently graduated with her MSc in Biodiversity, Conservation, and Management. Her research interests center around how historical context and analysis can enhance scientific study, particularly when considering environmental and climatic change. Monica has been enjoying doing archival research on past expeditions' maps, diaries, and reports in her role as Historian for the Expeditions Team. She wrote her MSc dissertation on the transfer of energy through a trophic system in the tundra of Western Greenland.
