By supporting this campaign, you become part of a story that began in 1927 and continues today — one of exploration, discovery, and stewardship of the Arctic.​ As the Arctic undergoes rapid change, our work and research have never been more urgent.

Our expeditions are entirely student-led and independently funded. Every contribution helps make this project possible, from essential research equipment and safety gear to travel logistics and outreach. ALUMNI
Were you a part of OUEC, the Oxford University Women’s Exploration Club (OUWEC), or did you join Oxford expeditions during your time at the University? We want you!
We are gathering contact details from alumni as we approach the centenary of the OUEC. This will help us research past Arctic expeditions, support our historians’ team and complementing archival research, and learn from alumni experiences.
Alumni will be invited to upcoming events, including an Expeditions Night where alumni can share journals, photographs, and stories with current students and fellow alumni. Through this initiative, we hope to bring together OUEC and OUWEC alumni, while documenting the history of OUWEC, whose archival record is currently limited.
