Tom Wood

Tom is a DPhil (PhD) candidate at the University of Oxford investigating the environmental controls on marine plankton calcification over the last 65 million years, and the relation of this process to the evolution of atmospheric CO2. Tom shares his spare time between North Wales and Chamonix-Mont-Blanc where he trains and competes in mountain running races and has an interest in the intersecting histories of science and mountaineering.
